Kris Jordan is the General Manager of Garvin’s Plumbing and Sewer, a family-owned business with a history dating back to 1940. Founded by her great uncle Russ and later passed on to her father, Kenneth, the company is now in its third generation of family leadership.

Having grown up in the business, Kris has seen firsthand the integrity and dedication that have made Garvin’s a trusted name in the community. As General Manager, she is committed to upholding those values while guiding the company into the future.

From Marketing To Management

Kris’s professional journey at Garvin’s began as a teenager, assisting with administrative work and dispatching. After returning to the company as an adult, she channeled her passion for marketing into developing the business, creating website content, blogging and enhancing the company’s presence on social media.

Her strategic mindset and drive to improve processes led her to take on a management role, where she could implement meaningful changes. With experience in every area of the business and a strong foundation in leadership, Kris now oversees operations as General Manager, ensuring the team delivers exceptional service to every customer.

Creative Pursuits

Outside of her role at Garvin’s, Kris is a passionate writer, creating poetry, short stories and novels. Her love for storytelling has influenced her approach to marketing and leadership, helping her connect with people and bring fresh ideas to the table. Recently, she has rediscovered her high school passion for oil painting, finding creative expression that inspires her both personally and professionally.

With over 16 years of experience in plumbing and sewer services, Kris has gained a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Her upbringing in the family business and her background in working with at-risk youth have shaped her leadership style, emphasizing teamwork, personal development and a customer-first approach.
